Sisterhood
Hosts Reporter

Congregation B'nai Moshe will cele-
brate Sisterhood Shabbat 9 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 17, with a service and
speaker Lynne Meredith Cohn, staff
writer for The Jewish News, poet and
teacher.
Participating in the service will be
sisterhood co-presidents Ruth Shayne
(D'var Torah) and Ann Grey
(Remarks); Pearlena Bodzin (Ashrei);
Jeanette Berger (Prayer for Israel);
Nancy Kaplan (Adon Olam); Naomi
Pinchuk (Haftorah); and Pauline
Schwartz (Prayer for Our Country).
Also honored will be the president
of the congregation, Susan Friedman,
as well as some of the most active
members of the B'nai Moshe
Sisterhood, including Lillian
Greenhut, Leslye Rosenbaum and
Eileen Stahl.
At the conclusion of services there
will be an extended kiddush to
which all are invited, followed by the
program featuring Lynne Cohn. She
will discuss "Finding Feminism in
Your Back Yard." The talk will begin
at 12:30 p.m. and will include a time

BBG Begins
New League

Michigan Region BBG will begin its
Mind, Body, Attitude (MBA) League
on Sundays. This year's MBA includes
a five-week bowling league and a five-
week volleyball league. Dana
Markowitz, regional spirit/sport chair-
woman from Disraeli BBG, will coor-
dinate this program.
