lashing out at Jews.
Russian police clashed with mem-
bers of the anti-Semitic group
Pamyat when they staged two
protests outside branches of the
Moscow-based Alfa Bank.
Pamyat members dressed in black
military uniforms shouted anti-

which is headed by two Jews.
Protesters carried banners pro-
claiming, "Don't Believe in the
Zionists — Withdraw Your
Deposits" and "Zionist Bank — Out

Jerusalem (JPFS) — Switzerland's
first disbursement from the Special
Fund it earmarked for Holocaust
survivors is due to be made in Riga,
Latvia, Swiss lawmakers said.
In a step also meant to atone for
their country's passive attitude
toward the Holocaust, a special Swiss
commission will submit data about
gold looted by the Nazis and trans-
ferred to Switzerland at an interna-
tional conclave in London next
month, they said.
