"Not only is the menu beefy,
but the portions are gigantic .. .
these steaks, with some bite to them,
have a full meaty flavor .. ,
the wine list is enough to keep
you entertained for many visits."

aniel Lubetzky wants
Israeli-Arab peace to spread
to the Middle East — so he
is taking his Israeli-Arab
spread to the Middle East.
The founder of PeaceWorks, a 3-
year-old New York-based corporation
that promotes joint business projects
in Israel and the Palestinian territories
through its marketing and exporting
expertise, left recently for a "Goodwill
Tour" through Israel and three Arab
nations. He and his partners, Israeli
Jews and Palestinians, will drive
around Israel, the West Bank and Jor-
dan in a van decorated with a Peace-
Works banner and loaded with bottles
of the firm's products. Their itinerary
includes a public tasting in Tel Aviv,
factory tours and meetings with gov-
ernment officials.
They also will fly to Qatar, where
the 29-year-old Lubetzky will speak at
the Middle East/North African Eco-
nomic Summit, and to Egypt.
Their message: Peace sells.
Their Moshe & Ali line, which fea-
tures Moshe & Ali's Sprate (pro-
nounced sprah-tay), a gourmet pate
available in its original sun-dried
tomato flavor and 16 other gourmet
varieties, has grown from three vari-
eties to 40. It bears kosher certifica-
tion.
