man of the board and CEO of Ford

their numerous contributions to the

BROADWAY BUZZ

Douglas Sills, who has the lead in
the Broadway musical The Scarlet
Pimpernel, graciously met my family
back stage after one of his stellar per-
formances. Sills thanked The Jewish
News for his recent cover story in our
JNE section.
He recently appeared on "Live
with Regis and Kathy Lee." After per-
forming one of the songs from The
Scarlet Pimpernel, he said, "I haven't
been this nervous since my bar mitz-
vah." Sills is scheduling other guest
appearances on TV shows, including
"Rosie." Sills is the son of Rhoda
and Arthur Sills and the brother of
Susie Sills and Claudia Sills. Rumor
has it that Sills
