died Nov. 27.
He is survived by his son and

ter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jay
Guttman of Novi; brother and sister-
in-law, Abraham and Lily Holcman of
Southfield; sister and brother-in-law,
Ruth and Fred Lehman of Oak Park;
grandchildren, Bradley and Dana
Holcman, Eric, Amanda and Jennifer
Guttman.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Services and
interment were held in Florida. This
announcement was placed at the
request of the family by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

ERNESTINE E HORWITZ, 84, of
Southfield, died Nov. 28. Ms. Horwitz
was a bookkeeper for Glassman
Oldsmobile and a member of Temple
Beth El.
She is survived by her sister-in-law,
Eva Salomon; nephews and nieces,
Marvin and Phyllis Salomon, Lorraine
and Dr. William Irving. Ms. Horwitz
was the beloved sister of the late Paul
R. Salomon.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

LEAH JANOWITZ, 81, former
Detroiter of Encino, Calif, died Nov.
29.
She is survived by her sons,
Maurice Janowitz of West Bloomfield,
Robert Janowitz of Encino, Calif.;
daughters and sons-in-law, Paula
(Jerry Errico) Allan of Palm Springs,
Calif, Rochelle and Stuart Davis of
Van Nuys, Calif.;brother and sister-in-
law, Jack and Sandra Stein of

Southfield; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Betty and Irwin Hearst of Los
Angeles, Molly and Maurice Oshan of
Encino, Ruth Silva of Encino, Toby
and Manny Chudnow of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Steven

Allan, Beth Allan and Bari Davis. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Bernard Janowitz.
Services were held at Machpelah
Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale followed
by interment in the cemetery.

Bloomfield, died Dec. 1.
