The area's only organization to pro-
vide shelter, food and direct assistance
to women living with HIV and their
children is in need of the following
items: kitchen towels, 12 sets of white
bed linens to fit twin beds, paper
products, cleaning products, grocery
store gift certificates, nonperishable
food items, winter outerwear, new
toys and games for children of all ages.
Additionally, volunteers are always
welcome as is any monetary donation.

Center in Farmington Hills provides
residential treatment for severely
abused children, foster care and adop-
tion services for children with special
needs, post-adoption support for fami-
lies and children and programs for
high-risk parents and babies.

As the area's only kosher food
pantry, Yad Ezra provides food to
more than 1,000 families per month.
Although most of the food is pur-
chased with donated money, kosher
food donations, particularly specialty
items, are gratefully accepted. The
food pantry has established volunteers
but doesn't turn away helpers.
