Oak Park of Las Vegas, Nev., died
Nov. 13.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine;
sister, Goldie Erhard of Las Vegas;
brothers, Rick Smith of Westland and
Arnold Snith of Oak Park.

LIYA SHANE, 75, of Southfield, died
Nov. 14.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Edward and Mila
Shane of Northbrook, Ill.; daughters
and sons-in-law, Zoya and Emmanuel
Gauzer of Farmington Hills, Rita and
Gary Shane of Farmington; sister and
brother-in-law, Busya and Ilya
Fucksman of Southfield; four grand
children. Mrs. Shane was the beloved
wife of the late Chaim Shane.

MARTIN SPIEGEL, 83, of
Southfield, died Nov. 14. Former
owner of Imperial Cleaners in
Southfield, Mr. Spiegel retired 20
years ago. He was a medic during
World War II. Mr. Spiegel was a
Mason and a Shriner and volunteered
at the Shrine Circus. He was also an
active worker for the Army reunions.
Mr. Spiegel is survived by cousins,
Eleanor Yanitz of Southfield, Elaine
and David Rabin of New Orleans,
Larry and Diane Blau of Farmington
Hills and Roger and Joanne Blau of
Marco Island, Fla.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

MOLLIE STEIN, 91, of Southfield,
died Nov. 16.
She is survived by her son, Irving

CARL WEINER, 68, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Nov. 17. Previous owner of
MACO, Mr. Weiner was a manufac-
turer of aluminum products. Mr.
Weiner was also the former owner of
the Oakland Bath House (known as
the Schvitz) on Oakland in Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Betty
Weiner; sons and a daughter-in-law,
Marc and Susan Weiner of Laupahoe
Hoe, Hawaii and Craig Weiner of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren,
Dustin, Tara, Colin and Beth Weiner;
brother and sister-in-law, Albert and
