Grossman 50th

Gordon-Ribiat

Jennifer Ann Gordon and Steven
Michael Ribiat were recently married
at Congregation Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses in West Bloomfield.
Rabbi Aaron Bergman, Rabbi
Norman Roman and Cantor Ben-
Zion Laxner officiated.
Jennifer is the daughter of Arnold
and Carolyn Gordon of Bloomfield
Hills. Steve is the son of Sara Ribiat •
of Southfield and Larry and Patricia
Ribiat of Birmingham.
Mardi Aronoff, longtiine friend of
the bride, was the maid of honor.
The bridesmaids were Jennifer
Arnkoff, Nicole Menuck, Kimberly
Sowerby, Wendy Kirsch and, sisters
of the groom, Leslie and Erin Ribiat.
Nikki Horn was the junior brides-
maid and Marisa Horn was the
flower girl. The bride's grandmother
Evelyn Hanak, also participated in
the ceremony.
Dr. Jay Fisher was the best man.
The groomsmen were Adam
Gordon, brother of the bride; Brian
Plawecki, brother of the groom; Jeff
Piell, Ted Efros and Larry Murphy.
Ben Harel, nephew of the bride, was
the ring bearer.
Following a honeymoon in the
Turks and Caicos Islands, Jennifer
and Steve now reside in
Birmingham.

Fred and Becky Grossman recently cele-
brated their 50th wedding anniversary
with their children and grandchildren,
Lynda and Joe Warshawsky, Mike and
Rob; Beverly and Bruce Gale, Heather
and Joey; Ivy and Michael Allweiss.
They were entertained by family in
South Haven, West Bloomfield and
Youngstown, Ohio. They will continue
their celebration with a trip to Florida •
this winter.

Vivian and Larry Schecter of Boca

Raton, formerly of Detroit, recently cel-
ebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Fla., with
their children Mark, Randy, Elisa and
Seth, and their grandchildren Samantha
and Sydney.
