JOSEPH SHEWACH, 89, of
Southfield, died Nov. 10. Mr.
Shewach was the owner and operator
with his brothers for more than 30
a years of the Shewach Grocery at
Eastern Market. He was also in real
estate management for more than 40
years. Mr. Shewach was a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, Harry
B. Keidan Lodge of B'nai B'rith, -
Perfection Mosaic Lodge F & AM for
more than 50 years. In addition, he
was a member of the Crescent Shrine
Club, Scottish Rite Bodies and the
• Moslem Temple.
Mr. Shewach is survived by his
wife of 62 years, Ann Shewach; son•
and daughter-in-law, Michael and
Linda Shewach of West Bloomfield;
daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and
Mary Rich of West Bloomfield,
Barbara and Eugene Zweig of West
Bloomfield; brothers and sister-in-
law, Harry and Dorothy Shewach of
Southfield, Henry Shewach of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Daniel
Rich, Sharon Rich Formicola and
Gerry Formicola, Marshall Zweig,
Susan Zweig, Robert Meltzer, Leslie
Shewach, Robyn Shewach; great-
grandchildren, Jonah and Jordie.
Contributions may be made to

Axelrod of Florida. She was the
beloved wife of the late Benjamin
Shugol.
