n! en are getting more rai-
able about preventive
health care, including
regular visits to the doc-
tor. But a recent survey by Men's
Health magazine and CNN reveals
that almost 32 million men still avoid
the doctor's office until the last
minute. Almost one-quarter haven't
had a regular health checkup in two
years, and one in 10 hasn't said "ahhh"
arn more than -five.
"The good news is that men are
feeling better about themselves and
their health," says Men's Health Editor
Mike Lafavore. "The bad news is that
-stoo many of them are waiting until
■ something serious happens to have
themselves checked for potential
health risks."
