HELP CELEBRATE A DETROIT TRADITION

YESHIVA BETH YEHUDAH
BOYS BUILDING DEDICATION

In the summer of 1996, with increasing enrollment, and an out-of-date
facility, the Yeshiva Beth Yehudah made a decision to remain in its current
Southfield location and embark on a complete renovation and rehabilitation
of its Boys facility.
With the help of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit, and a dedicated core ofYeshiva friends, the institu-
tion embarked on a multi-million dollar capital campaign
to recreate its Lincoln building into a state-of-the-art edu-
cational facility.
The building was completely renovated and stripped to
bare concrete as new ceilings, flooring, furnishings and
furniture were installed. A new gymnasium and a unified
administrative wing was constructed on the campus. This
was the first gym the school had ever had.
The final outcome has been to create what is truly the
look of the 21st Century for the Yeshiva.
To culminate the revitalization of the school, the Boys
Building will be dedicated by Dr. Milton and Lois
Shiffman, two very special and outstanding individuals.
Please join with us as we use the occasion of our 83rd Annual Dinner to
formally dedicate the new "Dr. Milton and Lois Shiffman Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah Boys School Building."
