Holiday Services
In Grosse Pointe

For the sixth year, the Religious
Committee of the Grosse Pointe
Jewish Council will sponsor Reform
high holiday services for the Jewish
community in Grosse Pointe.
Rosh Hashanah services will begin
at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, and
resume at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, with a
children's service at 2 p.m.
Yom Kippur observance will begin
Friday evening, Oct. 10, with Kol
Nidre at 8 p.m. and resume at 9:30
a.m. Saturday, with a children's service
at 2 p.m. Yom Kippur will conclude
with a memorial service at 3 p.m.
Rabbi Nicolas Behrmann, a member
of the council, will conduct the ser-
vices. Rabbi Behrmann was ordained
from the Hebrew Union College in
Cincinnati, where he also earned a
master of Hebrew literature degree.
