Daniel Feldman of West Bloomfield
will celebrate his bar mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue on Saturday, Sept.
13. Daniel is the son of Dr. Steven and
Sandy Feldman and brother of
Michael.
Participating in the service will be
Daniel's parents, brother, grandparents
Maxine and Ted Jackson, grandfather
Ben Feldman and his wife Dorothy.
Services will be led by Rabbi Specter,
Rabbi Nivens and Cantor Glam.
As part of Daniel's bar mitzvah pro-
gram he completed Adat Shalom's 13
mitzvot. He is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School. Daniel
enjoys skiing, tennis, soccer and golf.
Daniel, family and friends will con-
tinue his celebration with an evening
party at Hotel Baronette in his
honor.

Friday, Sept. 12. She is the daughter
of Laura and Martin Kohn, sister of
Maggie, grandchild of Beatrice and
Abraham Sacks and Bertha and the
late Philip Kohn.
For her mitzvah project, for the
past four years Anna has been work-
ing on a AHUG (Anna Helps Us
Give), an organization she formed.
She buys and delivers needy items
for the homeless with contributions
from friends, relatives and those
who have read about AHUG in a
Monthly Detroit article. She has been
honored by the Salvation Army and
WWJ.
Anna has been a cellist for the past
five years and loves to work with clay
sculpture and participate in politics.
She enjoys orchestra and her friends at
Norup Middle School, where she is an
eighth-grade student.

Anna Rebecca Kohn will become a bat
mitzvah at Temple Emanu-El on

Zachary Roth

Zachary Roth of West Bloomfield
became a bar mitzvah at Adat Shalom
Synagogue on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Rabbi Specter, Cantor Glantz and
Rabbi Nevins led services.
Zachary is the son of Dr. Steven
and Lori Roth, and the brother of
Jacob, Benjamin and Ari. His grand-
parents are Mildred Moss of
Bloomfield Hills and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Roth of West Palm Beach, Fla.
He also is the grandson of the late
Dr. Leslie I. Moss.
Zachary is an honor student at
Hillel Day School. He is an avid
swimmer and has won numerous
awards in swim competition. He
enjoys tennis, basketball, fishing and
golf. He has spent the last four sum-
mers at Camp Ramah in Canada.
Zachary has been a volunteer
worker for the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation. He will make a donation
to the Cystic Fibrosis Research
Center in Ann Arbor in honor of his
bar mitzvah.
