Magazine Celebrates With
Variety Children's Charity
magazine presented
"Now & Then — A Cele-
bration of 25 years" fash-
ion show to benefit
Variety, the Children's Charity.
The sold-out event was hosted
by Jacobson's in Birmingham.
Patrons enjoyed a strolling re-
ception on the first floor of Ja-
cobson's before the fashion show
began on the second level of the
store. The presentation began
with celebrity photography

magazine and concluded with a
marvelous fashion show. Some of
the collections included Giorgio
Armani, Chanel, Missoni, Ralph
Lauren and St. John. Glamorous
furs from Yves Saint Laurent
were part of the fashion show fi-
nale. The evening ended with a
gourmet coffee and dessert buf-
fet.
Sharon Bockoff of Birming-
ham was the event chairman of
the evening. Some of the Variety
supporters included Rosalie and
