Southfield, died Aug. 19. Mr.
Baron was a tool and die maker
for 40 years, then worked at
LeBaron's Sports, retiring two
years ago.
Mr. Baron is survived by his
wife, Mildred Baron; daughter
and son-in-law, Barbara and
Ken Glinski of Farmington
Hills; sons and daughters-in-
law, Les and Gail Baron of
Bloomfield Hills, Bruce and
Janet Baron of Madison
Heights; grandchildren,
Michael, Dana and Scott Glins-
ki, Lori Baron, Mark and Ryan
Baron. Mr. Baron was the
beloved brother of the late
Frederick Baron, the late
Lawrence Baron, the late Har-
riet Freedland and the late Del-
phine Lee.
Interment at Machpelah

schul. Or, re-live the memories of your own neighborhood from the
heyday of Detroit's Jewish areas on a 5-hour tour, Sunday, September
14, 1997.
Travel back in time on a luxury, air conditioned bus and learn
about Detroit's Jewish history as you trace the historical places from
downtown to suburbs.
The tour is $15 for Jewish Historical Society members and $18 for
non-members. A light snack of cookies and candy is offered.
The tour meets at 12:15pm at the Agency for Jewish Education,
21550 W. 12 Mile Road, east of Lahser, in Southfield and leaves at
12:30 pm. The tour also ends here.

LEE FURTH, 88, former De-

troiter, of Tucson, Ariz., died
Aug. 14. Mr. Furth was a me-
chanical engineer.

of Los Angeles; grandson, Oliv-

er Furth; brother and sister-in-
law, John and Elizabeth Furth
of Monroe, La. Mr. Furth was
the beloved husband of the late
