THEODORE TANNER, 88,
of Farmington, died June 16.

grandchildren, Gita (Michel)
Drape, Laona (Tom) Fleischer,
Shaina, Evan, John, Micah

daughter, Jenna Fleischer.
Graveside services were
held at Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Contributions
may be made to the Children's
Defense Fund in Washington,

LILLIAN WINKLER, 79, of
Oak Park, died June 15. Mrs.
Winkler was a moving and
storage bookkeeper. She was
active with WAND (Women's
Actions for New Directions)
and a volunteer for Kadima.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Joseph Winkler; daugh-
ter, Cynthia Rahav of Israel;
granddaughter, Maritte Ra-
hav; brother and sister-in-law,
Leonard and Lorraine Lerner
of Southfield; sister-in-law,
Sue Lerner. Mrs. Winkler was
the loving mother of the late
Madalyn Winkler and the dear
sister-in-law of the late Max
Lerner.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may

MARTHA WLJRM, 83, of Ply-
mouth Township, died June
13. Mrs. Wurm was a co-owner
of Laurel Furniture Company
in Plymouth and was in the
furniture business almost 50
years. She was a member of
the Canton Historical Society.
Mrs. Wurm is survived by
her sons and daughters-in-law,
Larry and Janis Warren of
Farmington Hills, Donald and
Kay Wurm of Plymouth;
grandchildren, Michael, Jef-
frey and Stephanie Warren,

Christine Wurm; brother-in-
law and sister-in-law, Dr.
Harold Luria and Lillian El-
son. She was the beloved wife
of the late Julius Wurm and
the dear sister of the late Es-
ther Luria and the late Edna
Zieger.
Interment at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions

HENRY ZAFT, 86, of West
Bloomfield, died June 15. Mr.
Zaft was the former owner of
Vogue Luggage Manufacturing
Company. He was a member of
B'nai B'rith Pisgah Lodge.
Mr. Zaft is survived by his
wife, Betty Zaft; daughters and
sons-in-law, Arline and David
Bittker of Orchard Lake,
Madelon and Terry Yarows of
Scottsdale, Ariz., Wilma and
Dr. Arnold Fellman of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren,
