Elects Board

At the annual meeting of the
membership of Congregation
Beth Achim in Southfield, Ger-
ald Keller was elected as presi-
dent to serve a two-year term.
Other members elected to the
executive board include vice
presidents Tobi Fox, Mary
Gamer, Dr. Michael Gellis, Mark
Rafsky, Dr. Richard Stoler; Ed-
win Sitron, financial secretary;
Rochelle Perlman, treasurer;
Adele Staller, recording secre-
tary; and Sherri Kass, corre-
sponding secretary.
Members elected to a three-
year term on the board of
trustees include Lois Balaj, Don-
ald Davis, David Goldis, Robert
Kass, Zoe Marcus, Lotty Par-
tovich and Alan Pinter. Mem-
bers elected to serve a one-year
term on the board of trustees in-
clude Shelley Gershune, Les Hu-
bert and Thomas Tannis. Annie
Friedman was elected to fill a
one-year vacancy on the board
of trustees.

Chai Dinner

Congregation Beit Kodesh will
hold the 38th annual Chai Din-
ner, 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18,
at the synagogue.
The honoree will be Aaron En-
gel. The charge is $30 per person.
There will be entertainment. Ad-
vance reservations are required.
