ment of the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit, Teva (He-
brew for "nature") will be devoted
to promoting the connection be-
tween Jewish life and the envi-
ronment and creating social action
projects related to the environ-
ment. Outings combined with op-
portunities for Jewish learning
also are planned.

The 44th Annual Sinai Hospital
Guild Luncheon and Installation
will be held 11 a.m. Thursday,
May 15, at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek.
New officers and directors
will be installed. Dr. William Pin-
sky, regional executive, North-
west/Sinai, who now heads Sinai's
new management team, will be
introduced, along with other
DMC/Sinai administrators.
Officers nominated are Rose
Rita Goldman, president; Marlene
Gropman, vice president of vol-
unteers and Amy Willens, vice
president of membership; Barbara
Nemer, vice president of pro-
grams; Marian Kantor, vice pres-
ident of fund raising; Carol
Blacher, treasurer; Rose Korin-
sky, assistant treasurer; Sally
Krugel, financial secretary;
Pearlena Bodzin, assistant finan-
cial secretary; Amy Steinberg,
recording secretary; and Helene
Lubin, corresponding secretary.
Following the luncheon, Jacob-
son's will present a fashion show;
models will be guild volunteers.
