1 cup water to roasting pan.
Cover tightly with foil. Reduce
heat to 350. Roast 2 hours
longer, basting often. Meat
should be tender when pierced
with sharp knife. Let stand 10
minutes before slicing. Serves 6
to 8.
Note: Spoon extra kishka
mixture onto a 12-inch square
sheet of foil. Shape into a roll
about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Wrap and roll mixture in foil,
sealing ends. Bake along with
the veal in preheated 350 oven
for 1 hour. Slice and serve hot.

Preheat oven to 350. Oil a 2
1/2-quart baking dish or spray
with nonstick vegetable spray.
In large pot, cook noodles in 2
1/2 quarts boiling water for 3 to
4 minutes until tender. Drain
well. Squeeze thawed spinach
dry. Add to noodles along with
red peppers, carrots, mush-
rooms, basil, Italian dressing,
eggs, egg whites, pepper and
salt. Mix thoroughly. Set aside.
Prepare sauce mix: In small
pan, mix 112 cup water, 2 table-
spoons oil and contents of pesto
sauce package. Stir and bring to
a boil. Lower heat and simmer 3
minutes. Pour over noodle mix-
ture and stir to mix. Transfer to
prepared baking dish. Drizzle
with remaining oil. Bake in pre-
heated oven 1 1/4 hours or until
firm in center and top is crisp
and browned. Serves 6 to 8.

WOMEN'S CAMPAIGN AND EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
JEWISH FEDERATION OF METROPOLITAN DETROIT

The Women's Campaign and Education Department Annual Meeting will take place
Thursday, May 29, 1997, 9:30 a.m. at Congregation B'nai Moshe.

The following business will be conducted at the meeting:

A resolution to amend the bylaws of the Women's Campaign and Education Department
will be brought before the members. The amended bylaws read as follows:

FROZEN RASPBERRY
CHOCOLATE PIE

1 pint raspberries
3 tablespoons raspberry or
strawberry preserves
2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
1 quart pareve raspberry sorbet
or raspberry ice, softened
1 (9-inch) ready-to-serve
chocolate cookie pie shell
4 ounces almond bark, broken
into irregular pieces

In bowl, mash raspberries
with preserves and amaretto
liqueur. Stir into sorbet. Spoon
mixture into pie shell. Cover
with plastic wrap and freeze un-
til firm, 6 hours or overnight.
Remove from freezer 10 min-
utes before serving. Just before
serving, insert almond bark
pieces into frozen raspberry fill-
ing to decorate. Serves 8 to 10.

4 tablespoons olive or peanut oil
1 package (10 ounce) frozen
chopped spinach, thawed
1 large red bell pepper, cut in
1/4-inch dice

2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup shredded fresh basil
1/3 cup Italian dressing
2 eggs
2 egg whites
3/4 teaspoon pepper

"The business of the Women's Campaign and Education Department shall be carried on
by a Board of Directors, consisting of fifty-four (54) elected directors, the Advisory
Service Council, the Board of the Women's Division of the United Jewish Appeal, the
Young Women's Leadership Cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal,Women's Cabinet of
the Council of Jewish Federations and all former presidents of the Women's Campaign
and Education Department. The President of the Women's Campaign and Education
Department at her discretion and with the approval of the Executive Committee, may
appoint to the Board of Directors, for a one-year term, one or more women serving in
chairperson positions. The Women's Campaign and Education Department may also
elect special honorary directors. Of the regularly elected directors, eighteen (18) shall
be elected annually for a term of three (3) years each. No director shall serve more
than two (2) consecutive terms unless she is either in office or Associate Campaign
Chairperson in the last year of her second term, in which case she may be elected for an
additional term. In addition, the chairwoman of the Women's Campaign and Education
Department Allied Jewish Campaign shall serve a Board term of three (3) years following
her tenure as Campaign Chairperson."
