gram through the Send a Kid to Camp
Fund.

The 5th Annual Golf Classic at Tam-0-
Shanter Country Club, sponsored by Mr.
B's Restaurants and Shuman Motors will
take place on May 19. During the dinner at this event, you will have the opportuni-
ty to participate in a silent auction of sports memorabilia and other items.

By participating in the 3rd Annual Car Raffle, you will also have the chance to win a
two year lease on a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as other exciting prizes. Tick-
ets are $100 each and the drawing will be held at 7:30 p.m. during the Golf Classic.

To purchase tickets for the raffle or to make reservations for the Golf Classic, please
call (810) 661-2080. Tickets may also be purchased at both the ,Maple/Drake and
JPM buildings, at the Health Club or front desk, and in the Sports and Fitness areas.

many years of childhood expe-
rience as they introduce your
children to the wonderful world
of creative learning and Jewish culture. This
first preschool experience for children ages 2 to 2 1/2 (potty
training is not necessary)., is taught by Risa Strauss on Monday & Wednesday
and Sandi Landau on Tuesday & Thursday.

Throughout the summer, children will enjoy learning, playing and fun through
arts and crafts, music, stories and outdoor play. The staff/child ratio of 1 to 4 as-
sures your child extra personal attention.

Two sessions are offered on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday
from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Playgroup will continue in the Fall. For more in-

JPM intergeneralional Choir ME Concert

Sunday, April 27 • 2 p.m. • JPM Building

Enjoy the beautiful voices of our own choir comprised of seniors and youth
from the former Soviet Union. The choir will be singing in English, Hebrew, Yid-
dish and Russian and will be raising funds to purchase blouses to wear dur-
ing their performances.

New Department

We are pleased to announce that the JCC has established the Department of Ju-
daic Enrichment to implement and coordinate Judaic programming throughout the
JCC - at both the JPM and Maple/Drake Buildings. This department is made pos-
sible in part by a gift from Irwin and Judy Elson and a grant from the Max M.
Fisher Jewish Community Foundation. Department director, Beth S. Greenapple
has worked in Jewish educational and communal settings for ten years. She brings
to the JCC a love of Judaism, learning and community. The Department of Judaic
Enrichment is located with the Adult and Family Enrichment Department in room 3.13. Feel free to stop
by and introduce yourself to Beth, or call (810) 661-7634 to say hello!
