A fledgling Canton
Township congregation
holds its first annual
Purim party.

et Chaverim in Canton Township
is coming into its own: last Satur-
day, about 50 revelers turned out
for the congregation's first Purim
party at a subdivision clubhouse.
Bet Chaverim, to which 26 families be-
long, does not yet have a building of its
own but has started a building fund. Un-
til the congregation grows — and it has
been steadily attracting new members
since its inception four years ago — ser-
vices will continue to be held at a near-
by church. O
