Tikvah Group of Hadassah will
hold a Parent-Child Mitzvah
Day, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday,
March 23, at Hadassah House

dolls to be given to children in

Zedek Sisterhood will mark it's
17th annual Sisterhood Shabbat
8:45 a.m. March 29. Members of
the sisterhood will chant the
Torah and Haftorah portions
and carry the Torah scrolls in
the processional. President Judie
Blumeno will address the con-
gregation. Torah readers will be
Miriam Goldberg, Ellen Labes,
Diane Gartner, Joanne Robin-
son, Marlene Margolis and San-
dra Schechter.
Marjorie Saulson will do
P'sukey D'zimrah. Maftir will
be chanted by Ruthe Goldstein
and the Haftorah will be chant-
ed by Marcia Boxman. Other
participants in the service will
include Rhea Brody, Sandra
Schwartz, Sharon Berry, Shirley
Shevin, Helene Cherrin, Anita
Naftaly, Faye Ullmann, Diane
Scholnick, Shirley Levin, Eve-

New Group
For Women
A new group for divorced, wid-
owed and single Orthodox
women, focusing on networking,
socializing and support, has
been established in Oak Park.
The group is open to women
throughout metropolitan De-
troit.
The new group, as yet un-
named, will meet once a month
in private homes. Each meeting c
will feature a guest speaker on
a topical issue or be in the form
of a social event.
The next meeting will be held
9 p.m. Saturday, April 5. For lo-
