Storytime
For Children
Temple Shir Shalom will offer a
storytime for children aged 2-5.
Debbie Landau will present
books, music, and projects 10-11
a.m. Tuesdays, March 18, April
8 and 29. Each week will focus on
a different Jewish theme or hol-
iday.
A fee of $5 per child will be

Cross-Cultural
Camp Program
Anytown Michigan, an annual
summer youth workshop located
in Camp Ozananm in Carsonville
(near Port Huron) is looking for
high school delegates to be nom-
inated for their program.
The camp is an opportunity to
learn about and understand
racial, religious, and cultural dif-
ferences. The week-long program
is scheduled for Monday, June
16, through Sunday, June 22.
The camp's delegates are stu-
dents who will enter the 10th,
llth and 12th grade in the fall of
1997. They must be nominated
by high school teachers or coun-
selors, and youth leaders in or-
der to participate.
Students participating will live
together for one week and will
have an opportunity to educate
each other on their diverse back-
grounds through discussion
groups, workshops, recreational
time and evening programs.
The cost for the camp is $150
per person, which includes trans-
portation, meals, lodging, insur-
ance and workshop materials.
Scholarships are available to stu-
dents based on need.

Heritage Night
Michigan Region BBYO will hold
Jewish Heritage Night 7-8:30
p.m. Sunday, March 23, at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Communi-
ty Center.
The theme of the evening will
be "The Hamantaschen
Hooplah," a Purim party where
all participants are asked to dress
as their favorite Purim charac-
ter.
All BBYO members and
guests are welcome to attend; at-
tendance is free.
B'nai Moshe
Issues Group
Congregation B'nai Moshe's
monthly, home-based discussion
group on "Contemporary Jewish
Issues" is now part of "Eilu v'
Eilu," a joint adult Jewish learn-
ing project co-sponsored by B'nai
Moshe and Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses.
The group will meet 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 30, at the Hunt-
ington Woods home of Seth Ko-
relitz and Sheryl Freedland.
Rabbi Aaron Bergman will facil-
itate.
