Danielle Goodman

Danielle Goodman of Fanning-
ton Hills will be bat mitzvah at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek on
Saturday, March 8. Rabbi
Groner, Cantor Najman and
Cantor Rube will lead the ser-
vices.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be her parents, Harriet
and Wally Goodman, and her
brothers, Zach and Evan.
Grandparents Eleanore and
Marcus Sugarman of Bloomfield
Hills and Helen and Ralph Good-
man of West Bloomfield will also
attend.
Danielle is an honor student
at Warner Middle School and at-
tends Hebrew school at Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek. As part
of her mitzvah project, she vol-
unteered at Yad Ezra and Camp
Betman. Danielle also enjoys
reading, tennis, skiing and play-
ing the piano.

Ryan Satovsky

Ryan Scott Satovsky will become
a bar mitzvah at Temple Israel
on Friday, March 7. He is the son
of Carole and Howard Satovsky,
brother of Jodi and grandchild
of Sally and Norton Flusty, Phyl-
lis and Stanley Satovsky and
Connie and David Sklar. Ryan
will celebrate this simcha with
his great-grandparents Sylvia
and Harold Flusty.
As part of his 'mitzvah project,
he assisted at Match for Life and
helped feed those less fortunate
during the holidays. Ryan is a
student a Walled Lake Middle
School and enjoys all sports.

Marissa Kelin

Marissa Joy Kelin celebrated her
bat mitzvah on Saturday, March
1, at Temple Israel. She is the
daughter of Lynn and Alex Ke-
lin, sister of Douglas and grand-
child of Laura and Art Cole and
Margaret and Max Kelin.
As part of the mitzvah pro-
gram, she assisted at the Holo-
caust Memorial Center. A
student at West Hills Middle
School, Marissa is interested in

acting, singing, dancing, soccer

and horseback riding.

Justin Matthew Friedman of
West Bloomfield will be bar mitz-
vah at Temple Israel on Satur-
day, March 8. Rabbi Syme and
Cantor Orbach will lead the ser-
vices.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be Justin's parents, Cindy
and Steven Friedman, his broth-
er Brad and his sister Ricki.
Great-grandmother Connie
Weinberg and grandparents Ob-

Justin is a student at Abbott
Middle School and attends He-
