Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michigan,
will hold its annual conference
on medical and professional
ethics on Sunday and Monday,
March 9-10, at the Novi Hilton.
This year's conference will fea-
ture prominent scholars and pre-
sent a pragmatic approach to
medical and professional issues
from ethical and legal Jewish
perspectives.
The conference is CME ac-
credited by Henry Ford Hospital
and meets the criteria for 12
credit hours in Category I of the
Physician's Recognition Award
of the American Medical Associ-
ation.

The Neighborhood Project will co-
ordinate a Purim parcel packag-
ing project 7 p.m. Tuesday, March
11, at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Jewish Community Center.
Co-sponsors of the packaging
project are Congregation Beth
Shalom, Jewish Community Cen-
ter, Jewish Experiences for Fam-
ilies, The Jewish News, Temple
Emanu-El and Young Israel of
Oak Park. Members of the con-
gregations and their families are
invited to bring kosher food items
to be packaged into shalach man-
ot treats for the Great Purim Par-
cel Project.
There will be crafts, stories,
music and kosher sundae-mak-
ing.
