on the advisory committee for
seniors in Southfield and was a
Red Cross volunteer during

Mrs. Braun is survived by
her daughter and son-in-law,
Barbara and Herbert Goldstein
of Bloomfield Hills; grandchil-
dren, Dr. Jeffrey and Stacey
Goldstein, Bonnie and Julian
Emanuel; great-grandchildren,
Jonathan and Aaron Goldstein.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Carl Braun and the loving
mother of the late Annette
Braun Konstantin.

Birmingham, died Jan. 19.
She is survived by her

Feldman of Waterford, Ken-
neth Feldman of Oak Park. Ms.
Feldman was the loving aunt of
the late Charlotte Tuttleman.

78, of Southfield, died Jan. 16.
Mr. Gold was in insurance
sales.
He is survived by his broth-

North Miami Beach, Fla., Mark
"Mickey" and Rosalie of West
Bloomfield; sister and brother-
in-law, Joyce and Greg Studen
of Novelty, Ohio; sisters-in-law,
Rozalind Gold and Rose Gold;
stepmother, Rose Gold. He was
the dear brother of the late
Robert Gold and the late Ben-
jamin Gold.

LESTER M. GOULD, 79, of

Niagara Falls, N.Y., died Jan.
15. He was an army veteran of
World War II, serving in the
European theater. Mr. Gould
was an active member of Tem-
ple Beth Israel in Niagara Falls
and served as president of the
Bay Beach Community Center.
He was a Cub Scout leader at
Temple Beth Zion in Buffalo
and helped organize the annual
Niagara University Scholarship
Ball for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife,
Dorothy; daughters and sons-
in-law, Laurie and Mark Blind-
er of West Bloomfield, Wendy
and Lawrence Kohlenberg of
Walled Lake; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Jeff and Joan Co-
hen of Stamford, Conn., Keith
and Ellen Cohen of Blue Bell,
Pa.; grandchildren, Rebecca
and Benjamin Blinder, Rachel,
Anne, Emily and Gabriel Co-
hen, Jared Kohlenberg; sisters,
Lillian Segal of San Jose, Calif.,
Marian Luvish and Jeanette
Saget of Boca Raton, Fla.

DR. MURRAY J. GREEN, 81,

of Southfield, died Jan. 20. Dr.
Green was a podiatrist in De-
troit. He was a graduate of
Ohio School of Podiatry, a life-
time member of the Michigan
and American Podiatry Associ-
ations and a member of Temple
Israel. Dr. Green was also in
the Army Medical Corps.
He is survived by his wife,
Clara; daughters and sons-in-
law, Janice and Dr. Michael
Salter of Farmington Hills,
Sandy and Dr. Daniel Panush
of Farmington Hills; grandchil-
dren, Matthew, Benji and Rob-
bie Salter, Stephanie, Jenny
and Jonathan Panush; sister
and brother-in-law, Phyllis and
Arnold Cohen of Bingham
Farms.

ESTHER "ESSIE" HINDER-
STEIN, 82, of Bloomfield Hills,

died Jan. 15. Mrs. Hinderstein
was a past president as well as
holding all other offices of the
Northwest Chapter of Women's
American ORT.
She is survived by her son
and daughters-in-law, Ellis and
Linda Roth of Bloomfield Hills,
Henry and Tina Roth of Mercer
Island, Wash.; daughter, Joan
Hampton of Calif.; grandchil-
dren, Dr. Steven and Therese
