Workshop Set
Adat Shalom Synagogue will
sponsor a series of three Sunday
morning workshops for recently
married couples or those antici-
pating marriage. The "Plain Gold
Band" series is set for noon on
Jan. 12, 19, 26.
On Jan. 12, Lorraine Lerner
will discuss "Interpersonal Rela-
tionships in Marriage." The co-
ordinator of Family Life Educa-
tion for Jewish Family Service,
Ms. Lerner is a clinical social
worker who works with individ-
uals, marital couples, families
and groups and facilitates pre-
marital workshops.
On Jan. 19, Rabbi Daniel
Nevins and Brad Wasserman
will provide pointers on "Estab-
lishing and Financing a Happy
Jewish Marriage." Mr. Wasser-
man is a partner in the Southfield
accounting firm of Woronoff, Hy-
man, Levenson-& Sweet, P.C.
The series will conclude on
Jan. 26, when Rabbi Spectre will
discuss "What makes a 'Jewish'
Marriage."
All sessions will take place in
Rabbi Spectre's study. Couples
will share bagels, coffee and con-
versation.
The series is open free of
charge to all interested Jewish
couples in the community. Those
