SOL KRIM, 88, of Southfield,
died Nov. 28. Mr. Krim was a
motion picture theater owner.
He was a member of the Variety
Club and Theater Owners of
America. Mr. Krim introduced
foreign and art movies to the
Detroit area at the Krim The-
ater and was a pioneer in multi-
screen theaters in Michigan.
He is survived by his brother,
Harry M. of Farmington Hills;
cousins, Rhoda and Archie Sills.
He was the dear brother of the
late Leonard Krim, the late Mac
Krim, the late Camille Kessler
and the late Shirley Krim.

LOUIS MALKIN, 82, of South-
field, died Dec. 2. Mr. Malkin
was a clothier, serving for 68
years in the men's clothing busi-
ness. He was a buyer for Fintex,
Osmun's and Steve Petix Cloth-
iers. He was a member of Oak
Park Masonic Lodge and
Shrine; Mr. Malkin was a 32nd
degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife,
Lottie; sons and daughters-in-
law, Jeffrey and Sue of Oak
Park, Ed and Marlene of West
Bloomfield, Steve and Sue of
Farmington Hills; sister, Lena
Friedman of Los Angeles; grand-
children, Julie, Rob, Dr. Elissa,
Carrie (Dr. Eric), Ryan, Michael,
