With a will, you get to decide how your property
will -be divided.
Without a will, the state gets to divide it for you.
With a will, your loved ones will inherit your
favorite things.
Without a will, your loved ones may inherit bubkes.
With a will, you can leave a charitable gift and
be a hero to your community.
Without a will, your community
will never know how much you cared.

specific Jewish interest in China
— and a scholarly encounter be-
tween Jewish and Chinese cul-
tures.
Tour leaders are Nathan Katz,
head of the religious studies de-
partment at Florida Internation-
al University, and Xu Xin,
professor of English and director
of the Center for Judaic Studies
at Nanjing University.
Mr. Katz is the author of more
than a dozen books on Buddhism,
Hinduism and Indian Judaism,
has pioneered in establishing di-
alogues among leaders of the
three religions and served as
translator (Tibetan into English,
English into Tibetan) in last year's
celebrated meeting between the
Dalai Lama and a delegation of
American Jewish scholars and
rabbis.
Xu Xin has studied at the He-
brew University, Yivo Institute,
Hebrew Union Collage and Har-
vard University. He is the author
of Legends of the Chinese Jews of
Kaifeng and editor of the Chinese-
language Encyclopedia Judaica.
The two-week program in-
cludes two days in Kaifeng,
China's most ancient Jewish com-
munity, dating to the 11th centu-
ry, and three days in Shanghai,
where 30,000 Jews lived in a ghet-
to during World War II. Of gen-
eral tourist interest are overnights
in Suzhou, China's "Garden City";
Xian, site of the museum of 7,000
life-size ceramic warriors; and Bei-
jing, for visits to the Great Wall,
the Summer Palace, Tiananmen
Square and the high-walled For-
bidden City.
Tour dates are Dec. 15-30. The
total cost is $3,595 from Miami.
Included are all air and land
transportation, five-star hotels,
all meals, kosher or vegetarian,
and All services and amenities.

"Not-Israel" destinations mark
the "new look" this year of Hadas-
sah's travel department. Former-
ly, the pioneer women's Zionist
organization had concentrated its
travel efforts exclusively on Israel,
affording members, families and
friends tours of the Jewish State
and, more specifically, visits to
Hadassah's medical, educational
and social service installations in
Israel.
The expanded program will
"further broaden the horizons" of
Hadassah's 380,000 members,
their families and friends, says
Renee Albert, chair of the travel
dept.
Among the not-Israel destina-
tions are "London With A Jewish
Ta'Am." The price of $1,207 cov-
ers a walking tour of the East
End, one-time center of Jewish life
in London, and worship at Bevis
Marks, England's 18th century
Sephardic synagogue; also: West
End theater performances, air
fare, five-star hotels, breakfasts
and some additional meals,
sightseeing and other amenities
and services.
Hotel Spa Ixtapan in Mexico
offers Hadassah travelers balm
for body and spirit. Balm for the
pocketbook is the all-inclusive
price of $650.
"Jewish Footprints in France"
includes a walking tour of Paris
and barging along the canals in
the country's Champagne region.
The dates are May 1-12, 1997, and
the price will be announced well
before departure time.
Innovative Hadassah tours
within Israel itself include a
journey especially designed for
the physically challenged. "For
the first time," Albert says,
"those who are bound by wheel-
chair, or by loss of sight or hear-
ing, will be able — comfortably
and easily — to experience first-
hand the Promised Land they
may, until now, only have
dreamed about."
"We check every aspect of the
tour to ensure full accessibility,"
Mr. Albert declares. "By con-
veyance, by touch, by sound, by
smell, the physically challenged
will know' the Wall, plant trees,
sip wine, `sightsee' — like other
visitors to Israel."
The all-inclusive price is $2,050,
comparable to the cost of any oth-
er tour of similar duration and
scope.
Other Hadassah Israel trips in-
clude "Winter in Natanya," Dec.
2-31, a month (it can be stretched
to two) of "living, volunteering,
teaching, learning and touring";
priced at $2,999, or $4,149, Jan.
5-March 3.
A "Singles Mission" offers the
under-40s the fun and games ap-
propriate for youth, as well as the
traditional, country-wide sight-
seeing appropriate for all ages. It's
priced at $2,289.
Further details and reserva-
tions can be obtained from Albert
at (212) 303-8031, 1-800-363-
2373.
