matic Brain Injury in Melbourne,
Austrailia.
Dr. Ronald Krome was pre-
sented with the Council Merito-
rious Service Award from the
American College of Emergency
Physicians for contributions to
the growth and maturation of the
ACEP Council. Dr. Krome is
chief of the department of emer-
gency medicine at William Beau-
mont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Lenore Dunsky Weiss was pre-
sented with the Max Osnos
Award for Distinguished Lead-
ership by the Sinai Health Sys-
tem board of directors. She has
been a volunteer at Sinai since
1953. She became the Sinai
Guild president in 1974 and has
been a life member since 1961.
Lillian Gorov is the first indi-
vidual to receive the new Sinai
Hospital Guild Award for Dis-
tinguished Service. A board
member for over 20 years, Ms.
Gorov has co-chaired the Guild
archives committee, chaired the
Guild's community outreach
tours and participated on the vol-
unteer team, where she pilots
new volunteer projects.
Rose Rita Goldman was one of
10 recipients of the Sinai Thanks
for Giving Award honoring out-
standing volunteers in health-
care facilities in metropolitan
