Ryan Kass became a bar mitzvah
Nov. 9, at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue.
His parents, Marcy Palmer
Kass and Joseph Kass, and his
brother Evan, participated in the
ceremony. His grandparents are
Joyce Palmer and Abe and Es-
ther Kass.
A luncheon was held at Steve's
Backroom and a dance party at
Metropolitan Music Cafe.
Ryan attends West Hills Mid-
dle School. He is involved in base-
ball, basketball, skiing, tennis and
the Year Book Club. Ryan's mitz-
vah activities include befriending
an immigrant family, delivering
food baskets to the needy and reg-
ular tzedakah contributions from
his allowance.

Elizabeth is the daughter of
