Ryan Kass became a bar mitzvah
Nov. 9, at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue.
His parents, Marcy Palmer
Kass and Joseph Kass, and his
brother Evan, participated in the
ceremony. His grandparents are
Joyce Palmer and Abe and Es-
ther Kass.
A luncheon was held at Steve's
Backroom and a dance party at
Metropolitan Music Cafe.
Ryan attends West Hills Mid-
dle School. He is involved in base-
ball, basketball, skiing, tennis and
the Year Book Club. Ryan's mitz-
vah activities include befriending
an immigrant family, delivering
food baskets to the needy and reg-
ular tzedakah contributions from
his allowance.

gregation Beth Achhn. She is a
seventh-grade student at Warn-
er Middle School. She enjoys
reading, music and theater. She
plays the piano and cello.
Elizabeth is the daughter of
Sheryl and Shay Rosenfeld. Her
sister Megan is 11 years old. Her
