Nechama Liss-Levinson, PhD., author of When a Grandparent Dies,
is featured speaker at the 45th Annual Jewish Book Fair,
scheduled to appear at the Maple/Drake JCC. The Book Fair runs
Nov. 9-17 at the Jewish Community Centers in West Bloomfield
and Oak Park.
Dr. Liss-Levinson will speak at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10.
Her appearance is sponsored by THE IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL and the
Jewish Hospice Services of the Hospice of Southeast Michigan.
Her book helps children better learn and understand the
mourning process through guided exercises, by allowing children
to express their feelings in writing and drawings.
A psychologist and psychoanalyst, Dr. Liss-Levinson is the author
of many articles on the developmental milestones in the Jewish
family.
