How should you judge a candidate for our state's highest court?

By his record of achievement — and by the esteem of his colleagues.

'

That's why Judge William B. Murphy
deserves your vote for the Supreme Court.

For eight years as a judge on the Michigam Court of Appeals — and for 25 years as a lawyer — Bill
Murphy has adhered to the highest standards of his profession.

A stong proponent of equal justice under law, Judge Murphy has won acclaim from his colleagues
and the highest ratings from legal associations.

As Chief Judge Pro Tern of the Appeals Court, Murphy worked with Chief Judge Martin Doctoroff to
cut the court's backlog by 70 percent in four years.

The National Center for State Courts called that performance the best clearance rate in the country.

Now Bill Murphy is running for the Michigan Supreme Court, with a plan for fast track violence courts
to bring swifter, surer justice to people and families across our state.

On Tuesday, cast your vote on the non-partisan ballot for an experienced judge with a record of in-
tegrity and achievement:

Judge William B. Murphy for the Supreme Court

(Paid for by the Judge Murphy for Justice Committee.)
