field, died Oct. 22. She was an
executive for Flom's Corpora-
tion. Mrs. Tarnoff attended
Wayne State University, was a

hood, Jewish Federation
, ‘ 1D
Women's Division, JARC and
the Morganthal Chapter of B'nai
B'rith.
Mrs. Tarnoff is survived by
her daughters and sons-in-law,
Cindy and Steven Posen of West
Bloomfield, Lynn and Sandy
Lipman of West Bloomfield, An-
drea and David Liberman of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Eve and Hannah Posen, Scott
and Renee Liberman, Brooke
and Alexa Lipman; brother and
sisters-in-law, Irving and Sophie
Auslander of West Bloomfield;
sisters, Rose Collis of Southfield,
Jackie Fertell of Keego Harbor;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law,
Esther Tarnoff Cooper and Mor-
rie Cooper. She was the beloved
ID wife of the late George Tarnoff.

garden, Joel and Mary Lynn
Mazer, David Mazer; great-
grandchildren, Allison, Danielle,
Brian, Jared. Mrs. Weingarden
was the beloved wife of the late
Morris.

DR. IRVIN WEISENTHAL,

former Detroiter of Ft. Laud-
erdale, Fla., died Oct. 17. He
was born in Russia and came to
the United States at age 10, set-
tling in Detroit where he gradu-
ated from Cass Technical High
School and the Wayne Universi-
ty School of Medicine. He later
served his internship at Detroit
Receiving Hospital. Dr. Weisen-
thal founded the Woodward
Clinic, the Detroit Memorial
Hospital and Mt. Cannel Hospi-
tal in Macomb. He was a mem-
ber of Phi Lambda Kappa Med-
ical Fraternity, Wayne County
Medical Society, Michigan State
Medical Society and the Ameri-
can Medical Association. He was
an organizing member of the
Detroit Trauma Society, B'nai
B'rith Anti-Defamation League,
Century Club and Temple Is-
rael. He also was a 32nd degree
Mason in Profata Lodge.
Dr. Weisenthal is survived by
his wife of 59 years, Sara
Groshoff; sons, Dr. Herbert of
Bloomfield Hills, Lee Warren of
Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren,
Erin and Craig of Bloomfield
Hills, Mark of Ft. Lauderdale,
Matthew of Atlanta. Services
and interment were held at Star
of David Memorial Gardens in
Ft. Lauderdale.
