Three Ingredients
For Homemakers
PHYLLIS STEINBERG
SPECIAL TO THE JEWISH NEWS
Just as canned soup and frozen
vegetables changed the way
Americans cooked dinner from
the 1850s through the 1950s,
jarred s a lsa, bean clip and instant
couscous are revolutionizing
meals today.
Using the new generation of
high quality ingredients and pre-
pared foods now available in su-
permarkets, Andrew Schloss,
author of Cooking With Three In-
gredients, has created a wonder-
ful new repertoire of dishes, each
based on just three ingredients.
