With Gamma Kappa
I
t's lunchtime on Thursday and
the informal fraternity meeting
of Gamma Kappa Chi of Wayne
State University is taking place
at East Side Mario's in Southfield.
Every Thursday since 1952, the
fraternity members of Gamma
Kappa Chi have gotten together
to lunch 'n' shmooze. Each month,
they pick a restaurant and meet
there each week.
Today, the discussion centers
on the upcoming 60th anniversary
chapter of Gamma Kappa Chi was
absorbed by the national frater-
nity Tau Epsilon Phi.
About this time, Harry We-
berman, Maury Sugar, Max
Garber and h-v Collins began
coney island evening meetings at
Lafayette Coney Island. The group
evolved into the Thursday lunch
meetings. Several reunions have L--\
been held over the years. The
group has a mailing list of 250
names.
