IRVING ALPERT, 72, of Livo-
nia, died June 2. Mr. Alpert
was an executive and co-owner
of Michael D's Shops for Men
and the owner of Montee's. He
was a master sergeant in World
War II, stationed in Alaska. He
was an avid student at the Cen-
ter for Creative Studies for
Sculpting.
Mr. Alpert is survived by his
wife of 47 years, Ann; son and
daughter-in-law, Fred and Tra-
cie of Trenton; daughter and
son-in-law, Dian and Damodar
White of West Virginia; grand-
children, Taylor Irene Alpert;
