MARTIN SHIANGER
CHARLES DEITCH
A survivor of Auschwitz, Mr. Shlanger devotedly told
his personal history each Sunday for twelve years to
visitors at the HMC. He passionately concluded each
meeting with the words, "Never allow yourself to be
taught to hate anyone. Never allow yourself to teach
anyone to hate anyone."
Martin was a dedicated and cherished friend.
We will miss him,
and Sundays will never be the same.
May his memory and his legacy be everlasting.
