Izzy Malin will assume the pres-
idency of the Beth Elders Tues-
day, June 18, at the noon
installation luncheon at Temple
Beth El. This will be his second
round as Beth Elders president,
an office he held in 1990-92. Mr
Malin has also seved as presi-
dent of the temple's Middle Years
Group, twice served as president
of the Beth El Brotherhood and
twice served as a B'nai B'rith
Lodge President.
Also being installed at the
luncheon are Jamie Marks, first
vice president; Gordon Seed-
berg, second vice president; Hy
Frank, treasurer; Jeannette
MacWilliams, recording secre-
tary; Jeanette Cohen, corre-
sponding secretary.
Board members to be installed
include: Sidney Alexander, Bet-
ty Jane Fisher, Rebecca Freed-
man, Lois Freeman, Hannah
Foreman, Edna Greenwald,
Faye Seedberg, Helen Waldbott,
Lee Waldbott and Laurea Wise.
Dr. Richard C. Hertz, rabbi
emeritus, will be the installing
officer.
Following the installation,
Beth El members and guests will
see the Satin Dolls (and a Few
Guys), a formely all-female se-
nior tap dance troupe.
Cost of the noon luncheon is
$8. Reservations may be made
prior to June 14 by calling

JPM Seniors
Hold Programs

"Light Up Your Life and Length-
en Your Pocketbook" is a pro-
gram presented by Detroit
Edison on Monday, June 10, at
1 p.m. at the Jimmy Prentis Mor-
ris Jewish Community Center.
This program is free of charge.
The Senior Lunch Bunch is a
kosher lunch program for adults
age 60+. There is a hot meal
served Monday through Friday,
except holidays, for a suggested
contribution. On Friday there is
a Shabbat program that includes
blessing of the wine, candles and
challah. For information call
