for the second day of Shavout.
Brian is the son of Stephen
and Rusty Rosman of Commerce
and the brother of Lauren Ros-
man. Brian is the grandson of
the late Jay M. and Dorothy S.
Rosenthal and the late Arnold
H. and June S. Rosman.
Brian is a seventh grade stu-
dent at Hillel Day School. Brian
enjoys basketball, music and
reading. He particularly loves
Star Trek and Star Wars.

mitzvah at Temple Israel on Sat-
urday, June 1 at a Havdalah ser-
vice at 5 p.m. Rabbi Bennett and
Cantor Orbach will lead services.
Jonathan's parents, Karen
and David Disner, and his broth-
er Michael will participate in the
ceremony. Jonathan's grand-
parents are Anita and Daniel

Estee Jessica Adery of West
Bloomfield became a bat mitz-
vah on Friday, April 19, at Tem-
ple Israel. The services were led
by Rabbi M. Robert Syme, Rab-
bi Harold Loss and Rabbi Joshua
Bennett, along with Cantor Mar-
ci Schulman.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny were her parents, Marcie and
Itzik Adery, as well as her broth-
er Ruben. Estee's grandparents,
Terry and Milton Rotenberg,
also of West Bloomfield, attend-
ed. A party was held at Knoll-
wood Country Club.
Estee is a seventh grader at
Walled Lake Middle School and
attends Hebrew School at Tem-
ple Israel. She is an active soft-
ball player and participates in
the North Farmington-West
Bloomfield League. Estee also is
interested in art and drawing.
