Oak Park, died May 23. Mr.
Kadushin was a laundry truck
driver. He was also a member
of B'nai B'rith and in 1939
helped organize the local
union.

ing father of the late Larry
Kadushin. He is survived by
his wife, Rebecca; son and
daughter-in-law, Donald and
Lois of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Beth Anne and

SANDLOFER, 88, former De-
troiter of Boynton Beach, Fla.,

MARTIN SHLANGER, 73, of
Oak Park, died May 24. Mr.
Shlanger was born in Velke
Kapusany, Czechoslovakia,
and lived in the Detroit area
for over 40 years. His first ca-
reer was as a real estate bro-
ker from which he retired
more than 20 years ago. He
then devoted his life to his edu-
cation, attaining a master's de-
gree in economics.
A Holocaust survivor, he
was an expert on European
history and his passion was to
lecture regularly in school sys-
tems, as a docent at the Holo-
caust Memorial Center in
West Bloomfield and whenever
the opportunity was presented
to fight his private war against
revisionists.
Mr. Schlanger is survived by
his daughters and sons-in-law,
Susan and Avi Lewinson of
Caldwell, N. J., Gloria and
James Nowicki of Bloomfield
Hills; sister and brother-in-law,
Rosalie and Michael Tobias of
Oak Park; grandchildren, Sere-
na and Benjamin Nowicki,
Eliezer and Jacob Lewinson.

59, of Beverly Hills, died May
22. Mr. Smith was an attorney
