On Tuesday, May 7th, Rabbi Shmuel Irons
gave a moving and interesting lecture titled
"Why Bad Things Happen to Good People -
Coping with Grief." His wealth of knowl-
edge and the depth in which he covered the
subject kept the audience attentive and ask-
ing questions.
This lecture was one of a four part series.
The last lecture of this series will be held on
Tuesday, May 28th. The topic will be the
"Secret of True Happiness." The lectures
given by Rabbi Irons have been a positive
experience for all members of our commu-
nity, Conservative, Reform and Orthodox
Jews. This lecture series was created as a ser-
vice for the greater Jewish Community.
Everyone who attends will benefit from
Rabbi Irons' knowledge and enjoy his open
lecture style.
Please join me at the Jewish Community
Center's West Bloomfield location Tuesday
at 8 p.m. If you have any questions about
the series, please feel free to call Deborah or
Nancy at the Jewish Community Center
(810) 661-7649.
