The Charles Shapiro Post and
Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish
War Veterans celebrated both the
100th Anniversary of JWV and
the 50th birthday of the post as
they installed Jerry Schlussel as
post commander and Rita Blase,
auxiliary president.
Other Post officers installed
were Sandy Pliskow, senior vice
commander; Jerry Order, junior
vice commander; Mary Penn,
quartermaster; Frank Blase, cor-
responding secretary; Al Lewis,
adjutant; Bert ElLstein, judge ad-
vocate; trustees, Mary Epstein,
Bernie Feldman, Dr. Sidney Leit-
son and Ken Volk.
