League's 2nd Annual Spring
Fund-Raiser at the Townsend
Hotel in Birmingham, 7:30 p.m.

The 20/30 League is a branch
of Fanclub created to meet the
needs of younger members of the
organization, which raises funds
for established cultural organi-
zations in the metro Detroit area
in need of funding.
The co-chairs of this years'
event are David Grossman and
Paul Silverman. Paul said this
event was a huge success last
year, with about 300 people in at-
tendance. "A young person in our
city couldn't have more fun in one
night," said Paul. (See today's In

Last issue we told you about a
Wine Tasting event. Well, if you
missed that event, here's anoth-
er opportunity. Temple Beth El's
Young Adult Group is sponsor-
ing a Wine Tasting event on
Thursday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m. at
Temple Beth El. Merchant of
Vino will conduct the wine tast-
ing, and Temple Beth El's Excel-
lence Too Catering Inc. will
provide some light hors d'oeuvres.
This event is open to members
($12) and non-members ($15) of
the temple, singles and/or mar-
ried couples 21-35 years old. To
