Heritage Hall of Fame by the
Friends of the International In-
stitute. Rabbi Rosenzveig spear-
headed the construction of the
Holocaust Memorial Center in
West Bloomfield. In recognition
of his achievements, he was
named Michiganian of the Year

At Beth Shalom
The Beth Shalom Cultural
Commission will present artist,
songstress, calligrapher Susan
Leviton of Harrisburg, Pa., in a
lecture/recital titled "A Journey
Through Jewish Culture" at a
luncheon following Shabbat ser-
vices on May 18. Some of her
work will be on display at the
congregation's social hall from
May 15 through 19.
As chief vocalist with the
Harrisburg Old World Folk
Band, Mrs. Leviton has record-
ed numerous folk tunes, theater
songs, lullabies, anthems and
Jewish songs.
There is a charge for the lun-
