Relations Distinguished Com-
munity Service Award. Ms. Rom

Randy Aaronson

RANDY AARONSON, son of

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Aaronson of
West Bloomfield, has been ac-
cepted as a member of the 1996
Spirit of American National Hon-
or Band Performing Tour of Eu-
rope. He will represent the United
States as an emissary to the peo-
ple of Europe, representing the
best of American youth. Randy
was chosen on the basis of musi-
cal performance, maturity, and
the ability to represent a positive
image of the young people of
America. Randy is an honor stu-
dent and a member of the West
Bloomfield High School March-
ing and Symphony Bands. He re-
ceived a number "1" rating at the
district and state levels on both
the alto and soprano saxophones.

JOE FEINSTEIN, a West

Bloomfield resident, will have his
one-act play En Vino Veritas per-
formed in a staged reading by the
JET on May 8 and 9.

HENRY BASKIN, a Birming-

ham attorney who served as
chairperson of the governor's Do-
mestic Violence Task Force, has
been honored with a certificate
of commendation from the Unit-
ed States Department of Justice
for his efforts on behalf of crime
victims.
Mr. Baskin is the chairperson
of the Michigan Judicial Tenure
Commission, a commissioner of
the State Bar of Michigan, co-
chair of the State Bar's Judicial
Qualifications Committee and
chair of the State Bar's Judicia-
ry Committee.
