Leaguer considered a life in academia, and another

thought he'd become a clinical psychologist. Only one

knew she was bound for the rabbinate.

Meet six of Detroit's young pulpit rabbis. They're un-

der 35, full of ideas, eager to learn and teach, and like

others their age, are balancing the obligations of fam-

ily and career.
