Rabbi Buchwald
Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michigan,
and the Jewish Resource Center
of Ann Arbor will host Rabbi
Ephraim Buchwald, founder and
director of the National Jewish
Outreach Program.
Rabbi Buchwald will present
a lecture titled "The Role of
American Jews in the Destiny of
Israel" on Wednesday, Feb. 14,
at 12:15 p.m. at Machon L'Torah,
15221 W. Ten Mile Road in Oak
Park. There is a charge of $8 per

Rabbi Buchwald served from
1973 to 1988 as the director of
education at the Lincoln Square
Synagogue in New York. In
1987, he founded the National
Jewish Outreach Program
(NJOP). Rabbi Buchwald is the
honorary president of the Asso-
ciation for Jewish Outreach Pro-
fessionals.
In addition, Rabbi Buchwald
will present another lecture ti-
tled "The Art of Pleasure, The
Labor of Love — The Jewish Way
of Love and Marriage" at the
Jewish Resource Center in Ann
Arbor, 1335 Hill Street, on
Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
