Jerusalem (JPFS) - Ariely Ad-
vertising has signed a partner-
ship agreement with the Lowe
Group, one of the world's largest
agency networks.
According to the deal, Ariely
- one of the country's leading ad-
vertising firms - will immedi-
ately join the Lowe network.
The agency, which was regis-
tered on the Nasdaq several
months ago, will continue to op-
erate under its existing man-
agement, with Uri Ariely as
chairman of the company and
Amos Tal-Shir as chief executive
officer.
Ariely said spending on ad-
vertising for the local market has
significantly increased in recent
years as a result of the peace
process and the introduction of
commercial television in 1993.
In 1994, spending on adver-
tising increased 20 percent to
more than $1 billion.
Last year Lowe was ranked
14th among worldwide agency
networks with $2.6 billion in rev-
enues.
The group operates agencies

in 28 countries throughout Eu-
rope, North America, Brazil and
India.
The company's major clients
include Coca Cola, Braun, Ca-
ble & Wireless and General Mo-
tors.
Ariely's major clients include
Bank Leumi, Bezek, Carlsberg,
El Al, Osem and Tnuva.

Elbit Defense
Wins Contract

Jerusalem (JPFS) - Elbit De-
fense Systems subsidiary Elbit
Fort Worth (EFW) has won a
contract to develop and manu-
facture the positioning interface
box (PIB) in the Bradley A3 ar-
mored personnel carrier.
The PIB is used in the pro-
cessing and digitization of vehi-
cle sensor signals.
Winning the contract "proves
the importance of subsidiary
EFW in raising awareness about
Elbit in the American military
market," Elbit Defense Systems
General Manager Yossi Acker- c
man said.
The order is Elbit's third con-
tract with the Bradley A3 devel-
opers.
